French Cheese Class with Lucas Kerautret of Maison Mons.

Thursday May 8th 6:30-8pm


This class is a guided tasting of 5 distinct French cheeses aged by award winning Maison Mons. With an option to make it a pairing event with French wine! Lucas will be sharing the best that France has to offer from ash-ripened goat’s milk, to blue-veined mixed milks, to stuffed camembert!


Maison Mons is a family business founded in Auvergne in the late ‘60s, specializing in affinage (aging cheese). They’ve been awarded the Meilleur Ouvrier de France for excellence in craftmanship. In addition to making cheese, they source cheeses from 80 producers and age them in their Tunnel de la Collogne, a former railway tunnel converted into an aging cellar, before selling them in their shops and countries all over the world.
